The Yorkminstrels Show Choir is a dynamic, mixed-voice choir, based in North York, serving the greater Toronto area. The choir was founded in 1974 by several members of the Yorkminstrels mainstage company which presented large-scale musical productions to the North York community for five decades. Their aim was to bring music into the community and reach new audiences. Under the musical direction of Ellen Kestenberg and with our talented accompanist Anne Lee, The Yorkminstrels Show Choir brings songs to life in an entertaining, dramatic way.
What We Offer:
An extensive repertoire including Broadway show selections
(from both modern and classic musicals), medleys featuring "golden oldies,"
contemporary popular music, folk songs, and seasonal favourites
Costumes and choreography add to the visual appeal of the concerts.
Concert material will vary according to the needs of your event.

In Metro Toronto, Markham, Thornhill, Richmond Hill and the surrounding areas
